Exchange memberships enable high-frequency traders and institutions to trade specific products at reduced clearing rates. Memberships can be purchased or leased, allowing the member to trade directly from the exchange floor or electronically. Several categories of memberships are available, each to facilitate specific trading objectives. If you wish to cross-trade products at reduced clearing rates, you need to hold memberships at each of the exchanges. The rights and privileges of memberships are exchange-specific.
